I also joined my local urban sketching group, which has been a heap of fun and I highly recommend it if you think drawing on location sounds interesting.

I saw your collage of urban sketches on instagram a while back, looked to see if there was an urban sketching group around here, and there is! I'm tentatively planning to go to their next event. I LOVE the idea of drawing on location (and have done it a bit myself), so I'm excited to give it a try as a group activity.

Also I got tickets for the Stardew Valley concert redux next year. :3

Oh yay! I hope you enjoy it if you do go. There's something about sketching on location - the limitations on time, view, materials, etc make it really fun for me. I've found our group really welcoming and non-judgmental so I hope yours is too.

I had no idea that Stardew Valley: Symphony of Seasons even existed before now, but oh wow - very cool, and I'm glad you got to see it!

It was so cool! It sold out so quickly in many cities so I feel very lucky to have gone, although they have decided to do it again in 2025 so I'm also glad people who missed out get a second chance. It was really interesting to see so many other fans of the game turn out, and the music choices made me think about the different experiences everyone has when playing.
