Waiting for a fortnight between episodes is untenable, I don't think I'll be continuing this for long.

Spoilers below!

So the basic premise is that our protagonists are attending a School for Heroes and Villains, except that in this world "Hero" and "Villain" are just job titles for positions that every city hires to increase their prestige, and villains are heavily discouraged from causing anything beyond property damage and (presumably not serious) injury. Also, some of their instructors are evil, only in this world "evil" just means that you are forbidden from taking a position as a Hero or Villain.

I have never related more to Travis than in this moment. This is exactly the kind of world-building I engage in when there's a trope I want to play with but am having trouble with my sense of morality, so I water it down until it's something I can live with. I am delighted and tremendously amused.

Aside from that...
- No setup episode this time! Just diving straight in. Neat.
- Way, way too much scatalogical humour in this episode for my taste, yikes.
- Travis isn't as good at monologuing as Griffin is yet, but I'm sure it will come.
- Justin, I don't want to tell you your business, but creating a character with poor language skills and a heavy accent for a podcast seems like a bad move. I also feel like he's going to find it very frustrating, very quickly.
- Griffin has a strong character voice already, even if it is a deliberately irritating voice. Wonder if the reveal of the nature of his magic is coming soon, or if it's going to be a long, drawn out thing.
- I feel like Clint's still finding his feet, but he'll get there!
- The setup with the mysterious voice in the forest was definitely interesting. I definitely wasn't predicting that the other students weren't expecting that to happen.
- I'm looking forward to the ridiculous mis-application of the D&D spellbook that I'm sure is coming!
- Is it more like a high school or a university? This is unclear to me.
