Not exactly spoilers, but cut just in case...

I think I preferred it when it was trying to be humorous.

And that's saying something, because I really didn't find it funny.

Thoughts on episode 1-14.


It's not bad, it just... suddenly takes a lot of emotional fortitude to get through an episode.

Haha, I love this show so much. But I totally understand that it’s not for everyone. Especially the [just disgustingly coughing into a mic for 30 minutes] parts and Eiffel’s everything. A friend of mine couldn’t listen to it either because he found Eiffel too obnoxious.

But yeah, it’s the only podcast I ever listened all the way through (several times)

I think there's the seeds of something there I could like! Eiffel was... improving, anyway. It's just we've gone from "everything is vaguely sinister" to "everything is awful and getting worse" and I don't think I can take it.

Reading that article you linked in the thoughts to episodes 1-14 reminded me of just how much I love Hera. One of my all-time favorite characters. ♥

In my opinion the show just constantly gets better and the characters more wonderful, but it comes at the cost of always rising stakes and a general grimness.

It's not worth it to make yourself miserable just in case you might end up liking the show at some point.

It was Hera specifically that prompted this post - she's so amazing and people keep messing with her head! ;_;

I'll probably continue for now, but... slowly.
