Update: Pillowfort keyboard navigation userscript

As is frequently the way, a bit of sleep helped clear the mind. Thus, I now have a working beta for keyboard navigation in Pillowfort.io.

There were a few things going wrong. For a lot of the time I thought I was being tripped up by PillowFort's lazy loading of content, but what was actually happening was the height of the top bar and the bottom position of the entry were encountering rounding errors.

Anyway, it's working for me now in recent versions of Firefox and Chrome.

Every time I visit PillowFort I am instantly turned off by the UI, so this may not be the last time I decide to do something about it...

Thanks for this script. The lack of key navigation on Pfio was getting to me. I did have to change the @match to include www in the url to get it to work since Pfio has changed that relatively recently.

I just noticed that your script has disabled the comment and reblog links on posts in the feed. You can still like posts, so it's probably related to the modal stuff. Since my experience with scripts is figuring out how to make a "back to top" button by scrounging code from tutorials I can't be more helpful than that.

Oh gosh, sorry about that! I think I've fixed that now - I think I was destroying Pillowfort's native jQuery and inserting my own, which is a Bad Idea and I should have known better.

IFTTT, DW to PF

I've been lurking around your accounts for a while (I don't even remember why. The Pinboard bookmarklet probably (which btw ♥♥♥) ).

I was looking for an ifttt recipe via google and funnily enough, it sent me to your tumblr crosspost about DW tools ^^;;;

Anyway, I thought that I'd ask anyway, if you have an idea/think what I'm looking for is available, since you use stuff like this:

I wanted to crosspost from DW to Pillowfort with IFTTT. I thought that I could do a "If RSS, then PF" somehow, but of course PF isn't available in the list of IFTTT systems, and as far as I know they don't have an email-to-post at PF, do they?

Do you have an idea, please?

I would also love a way to crosspost from DW to Pillowfort - it would help me actually use my Pillowfort account! I looked into it a while back, but I don't believe Pillowfort has an API or email posting, so there's no way to automatically add posts from Dreamwidth to Pillowfort.

You don't even seem to be able to pre-fill the contents of the new post form with anything (a la the Pinboard bookmarklet), which would be the next best workaround. I could write a userscript to add that functionality (and then a separate bookmarklet to insert a given post from Dreamwidth), but with Pillowfort in beta it seems like it might be at risk of breaking easily.

So I think it's going to have to wait until Pinboard has a few more features, alas.

Yeah, so far I've been posting here and then making a post on PF and copy pasting, but meh. Though the last time I couldn't even be bothered, I made a post with the same title and a link in the entry "posted at DW" lol

I see! I expected something like this, with PF in beta, coding something would probably mean updating the addon all the time. Thanks anyway!
