Science World | Reading Log
Jun. 22nd, 2016 10:27 pm☔️ Last weekend, I went to Science World* for what was the roughly fourth time in my life, and the first time accompanied by actual children. It is a completely different experience with a 4yo and a 3yo! A fun experience, although exhausting. It's very sad to have to surrender playing with the cool science toys to actual children, though. I hope they appreciated my sacrifice.
(Actually, I wonder how well some of them go down with modern kids [ones slightly older than the ones I went with]. Some of the tech has become increasingly commonplace. But I hope they love the infrared harp as much as I always did.)
☔️ On Friday it will be 10 years since I first visited Canada. On Saturday it will be 7 years since we moved here. I may make an introspective post about this, but I wanted to note the anniversaries in case I don't.
Reading Log (Since June 8, 2016)
The Edge of Worlds - Martha Wells
My ebook and library queue is empty now, so please recommend me things! (I have a small pile of physical books to read, though.)
* You may remember it from many TV shows where it pretended to be something else.
