Oh, so that's what a Traveler's Notebook is! My local scrapbooking/cardmaking specialty store carries them (along with a handful of Happy Planner accessories, if I decide to go discbound) but I didn't put in the time to figure out what it was.

In general it's easier/cheaper to get Asian stationery products here than European or American, but it's pretty variable. I'm probably going to end up ordering online, whichever way I choose.

The paper on the cheap notebook I bought is pretty thin, and I definitely noticed some bleedthrough when I was testing out the assorted felt tip pens I already have. I do want something a little smoother than a ball-point, though. I think I just need to come to terms with only using one side of each piece of paper.

I actually have a fountain pen, but I bought it for doing sketches with watercolour and the primary selling point was a fine nib and waterproof ink (Platinum carbon desk pen). It performed better w/r/t bleeding than the felt tip markers did, though!
