Oh yes, I'm familiar with Seanan MacGuire, just not that particular series. I've read the first October Daye book and the first InCryptid, but I violently disliked the romance in the latter so much that I've kinda given up. October Daye was better suited to my tastes, but it didn't really hook me to the point of actively seeking out the second book.

I'm planning to get around to reading Every Heart a Doorway soon, though, I have the book.
